The trailer for the first season of Columbus Kings is finally here!
Columbus Kings: Season 1 will profile the music careers of eight Columbus Hip-Hop artists, including P. Blackk, Copywrite, Vada, Fabrashay A, Hodgie Street, Fly Union, Rashad and J Rawls.
As announced in the trailer, the documentary series will air its first episode on May 30 and will release a new episode every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST for the following seven weeks.
You can see every episode through numerous online outlets including CBusKings.com, PaulMeara.com, Kingsrowe.com and ThePulse-Radio.com.
The Season 1 trailer features Vada (formerly known as L.e for the Uncool) speaking on his home turf, Krumm Park and how it has taught him many life lessons beyond what you hear in his music. The trailer features the song “First Of All,” Vada’s opening track to his 2011 project The Measure.

“For those that aren’t familiar with who I am my name is P. Blackk. I’m 21 years old & from Columbus, Ohio. I’ve been working on this project called “Contemporary Nostalgia” for quite some time now with my big homie J. Rawls. You might’ve heard me on the J. Rawls “Ohio Takeover Mixtape”, on L.e For The Uncool’s [Currently K.I.N.G. V∆d△] “The Measure” (George Washington) on Fly.Union’s “Look Up To The Sky”,on their TGTC album. I can now also add to that list my feature on BJ The Chicago Kid’s single “Heartless” which was his cover to “Long Run” by Fly.Union. away until the “First Ever Polar Entertainment Showcase” and to fuel the excitement Polar Records has decided to release a song everyday leading up to September 1st!!! The fourth song is the introductory single for TRUMP & ASSOCIATES. Trump is the childhood rap group of label owner, J RAWLS. The first single “Count Fleet” is from their upcoming mix tape and is produced by Ta’Raach.
Bio: Trump & Associates is a three man crew of M.C.’s from the south side of Columbus Ohio. The members of the group are Billy Hasbro, SMIFF and SONNI BLAQ. The childhood friends have been doing music together since the early 90′s. They were forced to take a break due to life’s lessons and growing from boys to men. Even though they were not doing music they still remained good friends. When the opportunity presented itself to get back in the studio with one of the industry’s premier producers J RAWLS the timing couldn’t have been better. Be prepared for raw beats and intelligent rhymes with an edge……. WELCOME TO THE DIRTY O. BIRTHPLACE OF AVIATION!!!!!
